The Rumba Crew

Best friends from college, Joe Anto, Drew Deters and Jay Hartington shared a love of adventure, discovery, and living life to its fullest. Reunited in NYC, the three of them started RumbaTime with the simple idea of making time keep up with your life, instead of the other way around.

Joe Anto

Prior to realizing that watches are more fun than finance, Joe was a Senior Analyst and Director of Investments for a hedge fund based in New York. This role was preceded by several years at a private equity group, and somehow in between he found time to get an MBA from Columbia Business School. Joe likes to surf in his free time and wishes the office was based in Montauk. His favorite watch is the Delancey.

Drew Deters

Drew also woke up one day to the realization that RumbaTime is more enjoyable than finance time. Before doning a suit everyday as a Vice President for a firm in New York he was traveling around the world as a professional cyclist. And yes, even in New York he still loves to ride. His favorite watch is the VanDam GO because he doesn't have to worry about dying of thirst now that he has cash on his wrist.

Jay Hartington

Surprise, Jay also worked in finance way back when, although he saw the light early and went to work for Saks Fifth Avenue in their corporate development program. For the last several years he has been busy overseeing numerous buying and marketing functions as the owner of the luxury boutique Marissa Collections. So watches were only the next logical step. Jay loves tennis and in another life he will be the next Nadal. His favorite watch is the Mercer.

Shipping

All shipments have delivery confirmation numbers so you can see when your order has been processed and when it should arrive.

Easy Returns

We want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. So within one year of purchase you can return your watch for any reason. Literally any reason. Just send it back to us (you can even keep the cool packaging it comes in, just stick the watch in an envelope) and we'll send you a different watch of the same value or refund your money.
